Abstract

Collaborative leadership and job satisfaction have become focal points for enhancing employee performance in the modern era, especially in light of the growing complexities within businesses. In Indonesia, the implementation of collaborative leadership still faces challenges, particularly due to a work culture that tends to be hierarchical, leading to low levels of job satisfaction and employee performance. This research aims to analyze the influence of collaborative leadership and job satisfaction on employee performance. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using descriptive correlational surveys. The study sample consists of 90 employees at PT XYZ, selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple regression to identify the influence of each variable. The research results indicate that collaborative leadership and job satisfaction significantly impact employee performance both individually and collectively. Employees who feel involved in the decision-making process and have high job satisfaction demonstrate better performance. The implications of this study underscore the importance for companies in Indonesia to adopt a collaborative leadership model and enhance job satisfaction to achieve optimal performance. Furthermore, this research contributes to the literature on leadership and human resource management in Indonesia, as well as opens opportunities for further studies to explore additional variables that can influence employee performance.
